Plane crash, moral crash

Do we have slightest bit of shame left in us? I guess, not. With a very heavy heart I discovered that flight PK 8303 from Lahore to Karachi crashed right before its landing. How unpredictable life is! My heart goes to the families of the departed. I’m out of words.

Every soul shall taste death. Imagine those begging for their lives in the plane, dying in that pain. And death isn’t something to crack jokes on. Even at this point, some people on both sides play the role of being so patriotic to regard it their moral responsibility to add fuel to the fire. (Remember I said, both sides).

I saw many Indians reacting with laughing emojis on the plane crash news. It can happen anywhere. Some reacted with laughing emojis, some with bashing comments. Claps!

Looking forward that time when all of us will treat each other as humans irrespective of their race, religion or nationality. I do realise that there are good and bad people everywhere. I’ve incredibly amazing friends from India. I love them.

Now, what I see, is the moral social media police of Pakistan.

One of the renowned models of Pakistan, Zara Abid, was traveling on the doomed flight. She passed away. Rest in peace. She must take that stamp paper into her grave, signed by our moral police, regarding her Heaven or Hell. I’m utterly disgusted to see people commenting ‘She is Jahannumi’. ‘She wasn’t even Muslim’. ‘Was she really fasting?’ HE is the only Judge. (Indeed). And here people are taking charge of HIS authority. Who the hell are we to decide someone’s Heaven or Hell?

Abu Huraiara reported: Our Prophet (P.B.U.H) said, ‘a prostitute was forgiven’. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Thirst had nearly killed him. She took off her sock, tied it to her veil and drew up some water. Allah forgave her. Can we please have a minute to recall this incident while taking decisions of Heaven or Hell for someone who is associated with the entertainment industry?

We, the innocent that we don’t watch movies or dramas. We hate them, we condemn them, but we watch them. We like them, but we consider it our moral responsibility to bash on them. We love them so hard so we decide their Heaven or Hell. (Standing ovation).

I am scared of the police in Pakistan, but now, you made me more scared of the moral police. Just thinking I must get my confirmation letter of Heaven or Hell from our MORAL POLICE, in case if I die wearing jeans or not wearing a scarf. That is why we are a failed nation.

Prayers, and prayers for all!
